About Me

My name is Rachel Eicher and this is my sixth year teaching at St. Michael Catholic School! I'm very excited to be a part of your child's education, especially at the school that impacted my life so deeply. I am an alumni of St. Michael Catholic School as well as a graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels, the University of St. Thomas (undergraduate), and a recent graduate of St. Mary's University (graduate).  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6) and English. I finished my Master's degree in Special Education with licenses for Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD) through the University of St. Mary's in April of 2017. I also took courses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but did not complete the license requirements with practicum teaching.

I'm one year married to a wonderful man named Karl. We've expanded our family with a Black Labrador named Lincoln that brings a smile to our faces everyday! We enjoy spending time together as we watch Netflix, going for walks, and visit our favorite breweries (including our own brewery!) in the Twin Cities with family and friends.
I absolutely LOVE being an aunt to my three nephews and one niece! They are amazing kids & it's been a wonderful experience getting to spend time with them as they are learning to crawl, walk, and talk! I've even become a Godmother and can't wait to share my faith with my nephew! I love to read and am constantly looking for suggestions of children's, teen and adult literature. I also love spending time with my family (3 older brothers!) whether hiking, kayaking, geocaching, family dinners, or enjoying the beautiful weather while cheering on the Twins! I'm also a Packer fan and hope to convert all of your children to the green side! :) Go Pack Go!
